The Journey to French publications
In June of 2020, just in time for Dominion Day (aka Canada Day) Lynette published The Legacy of 25 Scripture Verses on Parliament Hill.
Since then, she has been praying for a translator for her book because many requests have been made by French-speaking Canadians.
On September 13 2023, we received this email from a subscriber: ‘Hi, I was wondering if these books were translated into French? The Legacy of 25 Scripture Verses on Parliament Hill Or The Biblical Legacy of Canada’s Parliament Buildings. I have friends that don’t understand English’.
Lynette responded: I have asked many people to help me find someone who will translate them for me. In the Lord’s timing, I have been unsuccessful so far… Thanks for caring about this issue and reaching out to me.
The Subscriber responded: I will translate it for my friends… When I’m finished translating I can send it to you…
She subsequently translated it, superimposing the French words over the English words on every page, and sent me the complete translation as a text document. This is being edited before sending it to the publisher.
Thus, in the Lord’s timing, our foray into French Translation began.
The Prayer Calendar – Le Calendrier
Then, on November 24th 2023 just after we published our 2024 Prayer Calendar, I got this request from another subscriber… Do you have them in both official languages? Thanks!
Well, this subscriber and his wife agreed to translate the Prayers into French for the 2024 Calendar.
Before I printed the 2024 Prayer Calendar in French, I needed assurance by December 1st, that all 25 Prayer Calendars, the MINIMUM PRINT RUN allowed by the print shop, would find a home.
Both subscribers were recruited to promote the French Calendar in Quebec so we could print 25 copies. The appeal fell into the hands of another subscriber who proof-read and edited the prayers in the French language, and all 25 Prayer Calendars were sold.

In December 2023, the translation of The Legacy of 25 Scripture Verses on Parliament Hill was completed.
We are now at the fundraising stage to enable us to publish ‘L’héritage des 25 Versets écrit Sur La Colline du Parlement’ (The Legacy of 25 Scripture Verses on Parliament Hill).
In the NEW BOOK, the English will be at the front of the book but the French will become the front of the book when it is flipped upside down.

The Lord has abounded in grace – undeserved favour – for me.
To understand it, I want to tell you a story:
Once there was a missionary. She had served in many areas of the world. She returned to Canada where she spent her last days in a retirement home. She passed away in 2023, leaving a small inheritance to her brother. He said, ‘This is The Lord’s money and He will show me where to spend it for the kingdom’.
He was recently led to my website where he saw the appeal for printing the Bilingual Books. He felt convinced that paying for the cost of printing was what the Lord wanted him to do with those funds. So he offered to get the invoice paid once the books are printed.
I will be closing this campaign by July 13 so that donors will have enoughj time to see it. I will be contacting the donors next.
